Charles Alfred “Chuck” Leavell (born April 28, 1952) is an American musician who was a founding member of the jazz-rock combination Sea Level, a regularly hired studio musician, and a long-time touring member of the Rolling Stones during the band’s heyday in the 1970s. Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Gov’t Mule, and John Mayer have all toured and recorded with Leavell.
